How it works
- In the composer's media section, click "Generate with AI" and select Image.
- Describe the image and choose how many variations to generate — up to 4 at once.
- Review the results as thumbnails, select the one (or ones) you want.
- Selected images attach straight to the post you were composing, and every generated image — selected or not — is saved to your media library for later reuse.

Common questions
- How many images can I generate at once?
- Up to 4 per generation. Each counts against your monthly image-generation allowance, which is shown live in the generator before you commit.
- What happens if a generation fails?
- A failed generation is never charged against your quota. In a batch of several, if some succeed and one fails, you keep the successes and can retry just the failed one.
- Do generated images work on every platform I've connected?
- Yes — a generated image attaches to a post exactly like an uploaded one, so it works with every platform Postclay publishes to.
- Is AI image generation included in every plan?
