Deleting your data
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Postclay stores only what it needs to schedule and publish your posts: your account and workspace details, the posts and media you create, and the access tokens for the social accounts you connect. Here's how to delete any of it.
Disconnect a social account
Open the Accounts page and choose Disconnect on any connected platform. This immediately removes that account's access token and its cached profile data from Postclay. You can reconnect at any time.
Delete your entire account
Open Settings → Danger zone → Delete permanently. This erases your whole workspace: every post and draft, all uploaded media, all connected-account tokens, and your account itself. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
What we keep, and for how long
Once you delete a workspace or disconnect an account, the associated data is removed from our live systems right away. Encrypted database and media backups are kept for up to 7 days for disaster recovery, then roll off automatically.
